PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knife for opening shells of raw oysters with shells, which simply carries out a shell-opening operation, even in an ordinary house other than in oyster producers and in fish and shellfish stores. SOLUTION: The knife for opening shells of raw oysters with shells includes: an approximately C-shaped shell cracking part that is connected to the engagement part between the front shell and the rear shell of an oyster and breaks the part by an rotary operation; a knife body part that is arranged, at a position which will not get in the way, in the rotational operation of the shell cracking part and has a blade surface for cutting scallops, at least on one side; and a grip part arranged on one side of the shell cracking part. A small open cut is formed at the shell end part of an oyster; the knife body part is inserted from the open cut into an oyster and a scallop is cut by the blade surface. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
