<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a touch panel for simplifying a process, and for preventing any malfunction from occurring against any noise from the side face. <P>SOLUTION: This touch panel comprises: face resistor films provided on both front and rear faces and side faces on a glass base material; a quadrangular resistive peripheral electrode formed on the face resistor film formed on a surface 16 so that the face resistor film can be surrounded; and lead lines from the four vertexes of the resistive peripheral electrode, and those lead lines are connected to a signal processing part formed outside. This method for manufacturing this touch panel includes a first process for removing the face resistor film like a frame shape in the external neighborhood of the resistive peripheral electrode, and for electrically separating the face resistive film formed on the side faces and a back face 17 of the glass substrate and the face resistive film formed on the surface 16 on the surface 16; a second process for forming the resistive peripheral electrode; and a third process for bonding a metallic foil worked like a band shape on the resistive peripheral electrode with insulating adhesive, and for bonding the metallic foil on the face resistive film outside the resistive peripheral electrode with conductive adhesive. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
