PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shock-absorber for a rack stroke end enhancing durability of a rack damper for relaxing impact force by being elastically deformed between a rack end and a rack housing at a stroke end. SOLUTION: An inner peripheral side non-interference part 27 of a diameter D1 larger than a diameter D2 of a guide hole 23a of the rack housing 23 is formed on an inner peripheral side of one end surface 26a of the rack damper 26. Therefore, the inner peripheral side of the rack damper 26 does not make contact with an edge E of a border part of the guide hole 23a and a bottom surface 25a of a damper storage recession part 25. Thereby, at stroke end, the rack damper 26 does not receive edge load (end part concentration load) from the rack housing 23 when it is elastically deformed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
