PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable reduction in the inserting force of a terminal fitting and adjust the alignment of the terminal fitting. SOLUTION: In a base wall 21 of a connector housing 20, a through-hole 25 is formed into which the terminal fitting 60 can be inserted. The inner face of the through-hole 25 is provided with an inducing inclined portion 26 which is formed to be gradually narrower as tending backward from the front face of the base wall 21 and arranged corresponding to a protruded portion 71, an upright portion 28 located behind the inclined portion 26, and extending toward the rear face of the base wall 21 along the inserting direction and having a press-in region for a press-in portion 67, and a restricting portion 27 having a level difference 35 between the upright portion 28 and itself and extending from the narrower end of the inclined portion 26 toward the level difference 35 for clamping the rear part of the protruded portion 71 in a looseness restricting condition.
