PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable toilet for emergency, which is capable of being easily carried or stored with the reduced quantity of wastes after use, and capable of being sanitarily used. SOLUTION: The portable toilet includes a waterproof sheet, a receiving stand disposed approximately at the center of the waterproof sheet, and a water absorbent member disposed on the receiving stand. The receiving stand is formed in such a way as can be unfolded or folded. The water absorbent member is formed larger than the receiving stand and formed in a slender shape. The water absorbent member may be formed in such a way that the both ends in the longitudinal direction of the water absorbent member can be erected on the same face side.
