METHOD FOR PROMOTING THE SELF-RENEWAL OF ADULT STEM CELLS USING MESENCHYMAL STROMAL CELLS

A composition for promoting the self-renewal of adult stem cell by using the mesenchymal stromal cell is provided to treat the patient who needs the transplantation of hematopoietic stem cell. The composition for promoting the self-renewal of adult stem cell which is the hematogenesis stem cell or the nerve stem cell and physically contact with the mesenchymal stromal cell comprises the mesenchymal stromal cell in which beta-catenin or the notch ligand is overexpressed. The method for promoting the self-renewal of adult stem cell comprises the steps of: coculturing the mesenchymal stromal cell in which beta-catenin or the notch ligand is overexpressed and the adult stem cell; and the transplanting the cocultured adult stem cell into the living body.
