A die-casting apparatus is provided to simplify structure of the die-casting apparatus, reduce construction cost of the apparatus itself, and reduce die-casting cost by moving a core pin forward and backward using forward and backward movements of a moving mold such that a separate power source for moving the core pin forward and backward is not required. A die-casting apparatus comprises a fixed mold(2), a moving mold(4), a core(6), a slide mechanism, a core pin(10), and a core pin-operating unit(20). The moving mold is united with the fixed mold and separated from the fixed mold. The core is equipped in the moving mold such that the core can be moved forward and backward. The slide mechanism moves the core forward and backward. The core pin is equipped in the core and moved forward and backward in directions different from the forward and backward directions of the core. The core pin-operating unit is linked with the moving mold to transmit the converted forward and backward movements to the core pin by converting the forward and backward movements of the moving mold into the forward and backward movements of the core pin.
