The invention relates to a tap comprising a unitary body (3) having a first pipe (5) and a second pipe (6) defining bores (20, 21) with one bore (21) having a straight transverse cross-section larger than that of the other bore (20), connected to each other to define a bearing shoulder (24) for an added seat (26) on which can interact a spherical bearing stopper (2) rotatably controlled by a handle (49) in order to sealingly close or open at least a portion of the bores, the seat (26) having a dimension such that it can be introduced through the pipe (6) up to the shoulder (24) and maintained therein by retaining means (27). According to the invention, the seat (26) is maintained so as to bear on the shoulder (24) by detent-type means (29).
