SYSTEM AND CONTROL METHOD FOR DIGITAL SATELLITE RADIO BY FINGER SCAN

A digital satellite radio system based on fingerprint scan and a control method thereof are provided to store channel setting corresponding to fingerprint data, scan a fingerprint of a user when using a system, and load the channel setting data, thereby minimizing repetition of a channel search process and a registering process. A fingerprint scan sensor(10) scans a user's fingerprint. A user database(12) stores user fingerprint data that the finger print scan sensor scans. The fingerprint scan authentication processing unit(11) authenticates the user's fingerprint that the finger print scan sensor scans. A micom(13) sets respective user register data authenticated in the fingerprint scan authentication processing unit and controls each unit according to the respective user register data. A satellite radio module(15) receives a satellite radio channel under the control of the micom.
