FIELD: technological processes, coating. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention concerns production of ornamental articles of various purpose and can be applied to render ornamental properties due to covering decorated surface with monochrome or coloured pictures and photo images, where decorated surface can be glass, metal or ceramic tile. Purpose of invention is to obtain environmentally friendly ornamental covers resistant to long-term weather impact. To achieve the purpose method of ornamental image application on glass, metal or ceramic tile involves preliminary coating of future powder application areas with a glue layer using jet printer. After application of powder onto the glue layer they are put together. Then powder particles that have not glued on are removed from the surface, and the rest of powder is fixated by baking to the surface. ^ EFFECT: environmentally friendly technology of decorating surfaces with weather-proof monochrome or coloured images, including photo images, capable of long-term service in severe climatic conditions as external facade decoration elements. ^ 5 ex |
