An ink jet image forming apparatus is provided to handle the nozzle missing occurring in the print head by performing printing using a redundant nozzle. An ink jet image forming apparatus comprises one or more print heads, a nozzle unit having a main nozzle and a sub nozzle for discharging the ink supplied through the print heads, respectively, and a heater drive unit driving a main heater and a sub heater corresponding to the respective main and sub nozzles, where the main heater is arranged to correspond to the nozzle hole of the main nozzle close to a feed hole(120), and the sub heater is arranged to correspond to the nozzle hole of the sub nozzle.
