A liquid crystal display and a driving method thereof are provided to minimize the RC delay which is generated on the storage wirings. A gate wiring spreads toward the first direction while being formed on the first insulating substrate. A data line is formed by being insulated with the gate wiring and extends toward second direction. A first sub pixel electrode is connected to the data line, and the gate wiring. A second sub pixel electrode is connected to the data line, and the gate line. The first and the second storage voltage which is phase inversed are provided to the first and the second storage wirings(28a,28b).
