The heterocyclic fused selenophene monomer is provided to prepare the heterocyclic selenophene monomer with high yield, improve the manufacturing efficiency and reduce the expense of manufacturing. The method for manufacturing the compound represented by the chemical formula(1) comprises the steps of: providing the first reactant having the chemical formula(2); reducing the first reactant in the presence of metal reducing agent to form the second reactant represented by the chemical formula(3); reacting the second reactant in the presence of transition metal catalyst with the substituted 1-alkyne to form the third reactant represented by the chemical formula(4); reacting the third reactant in the presence of the compound including X with alkyl lithium to form the fourth reactant represented by the chemical formula(5); and reacting the fourth reactant with water, wherein X is S or Se, Y is S or Se, and one or both of X and Y is Se; R is a substitution radical; and Ha is the halogen containing group.
