A drinking water packing container is provided to improve combining configuration of a body part and a lid part, to be bound closely and to prevent outflow of contents by expansion of air. A body part(10) and a lid part(100) manufactured by vacuum-molding synthetic resin thin plate are inserted to sealing edges(11,101) of an external periphery portion of a drinking water packing container. One or more repelling joints(R) having a repelling channel(C) with a channel shape subsided to a set length along a longitudinal direction are formed in the drinking water packing container at a sealing edge and have a cross-sectional shape of "M".
