PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small and inexpensive high-frequency filter that has filter characteristics having a steep attenuation characteristic without using a substrate with a high dielectric constant. SOLUTION: The high-frequency filter 1 is constituted so that capacitor portions 13 and 15, an inductor portion 14, and a branch line 16 are formed between an input line 11 and an output line 12 that are used as a high-frequency-signal transmission line. The capacitor portions 13 and 15 and inductor portion 14 are provided in series with the high-frequency-signal transmission line, where the capacitor portions 13 and 15 operate as capacitive components for a high-frequency signal and the inductor portion 14 operates as a capacitive component for the high-frequency signal, respectively. The branch line 16 is provided in a direction crossing the high-frequency-signal transmission line, and has at least one capacity portion 18 operating as a capacitive component for the high-frequency signal and at least one induction portion 17 operating as an inductive component for the high-frequency signal.
