PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buffer structure for a laser marker absorbing a shock in falling down to alleviate damage given to important components, thereby preventing failures; and a laser marker equipped therewith. SOLUTION: This buffer structure includes a suspension means supported on a base, a laser unit holder rockably suspended by the suspension means, a light source unit attached to the unit holder to project laser line light, and a buffer member 11 attachable to and detachable from a laser marker body 1. The buffer member 11 made of material having elastic force comprises an inner diameter part 13 used to mount the buffer member 11 on the marker body 1 and a plurality of projection parts 12 projecting radially outward from the diameter part 13 while a space 14 exists between the projection parts 12 and the diameter part 13.
