PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sidewall rubber composition reducing electric resistance without worsening rolling resistance, and increasing a content of a raw material derived from a resource other than petroleum. SOLUTION: This sidewall rubber composition of the present invention contains a rubber component and polypyrrole, the rubber component contains 80 mass% or more of natural rubber component, and the polypyrrole is compounded directly in the rubber component without being carried by a carrier, and is contained at 1 pt.mass or more to 15 pts.mass or less with respect to 100 pts.mass of the rubber component.
