METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING MEDIA FLOW DURING SWITH OF MEDIA SERVERS

It provides a method and a system for providing media flow during the switch of the media servers, wherein, the method includes: the media delivery function which provides the media flow to the UE switches from the first media delivery function to the second media delivery function; the media flow provided by the second media delivery function to the UE is transferred by the first media delivery function acting as a proxy. The method and the system make it not essential to re-negotiate the media flow parameters between the UE and the network during the switch of the media servers, which keeps the media flow parameter unchanged and eliminatesthe delay caused by the re-negotiation of the media flow parameter, so that the response time of the system is shorten.
