SCANNING METHOD AND SYSTEM USING TWAIN DIRIVER

A scanning method and a scanning system by using a twain driver capable of remotely connecting local interface such as a parallel port or USB are provided to maximize the convenience and usability by performing scan in a user host computer. A user host computer(100) comprises a scan manager(108) and a scan to PC application(104). A scan manager searches with the scanner(200) supporting the network scanning. The user information and the scan option such as the user host computer information are registered in the searched scanner. The scan to PC application receives a scan option and register information of a scanner. A network module unit(150) comprises the scanner searcher(156) and a session control device(154). The scanner searcher is located between the scan manager and scanner.
