<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for determining genotype by which problems in a conventional technique can be solved. <P>SOLUTION: The method for genotyping canines in a microsatelite gene locus includes a step for amplifying a region of a chromosome DNA by using an oligonucleotide primer specific to the gene locus, wherein the region of the DNA includes a repeated tetranucleotide motif including AAA or TTT, and having the fourth residue of G, C, A or T, and a step for providing the measurement of sizes of the chromosome DNA between primers by fractionating the product of the amplification by the sizes, wherein the size of the chromosome DNA between the primers is an allele marker of the gene locus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
