PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the safety of the operating state of an elevator machine by reasonably performing calculations receiving large burdens while having a large number of functions. SOLUTION: This functional variable remote monitoring system comprises: an elevator machine control device 2 for controlling the operation of an elevating machine; a remote monitoring terminal device 3 for transmitting the information of the lifting machine control device 2 to a remote monitoring center; an agent device 4 for changing the functions of remote monitoring by performing control programs for each purpose which are transmitted from the remote monitoring center.
