<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability so as to enable a user to easily set tandem printing. <P>SOLUTION: An icon 20 of a plurality of printers 1 used for tandem printing is displayed on a screen of a monitor 3 of a printing controller 2. A user operates the icon 20 of one printer 1 to draw a line. A line 21 is drawn according to the operation, and the icon 20 of the one printer 1 is isolated from the icon 20 of other printer 1.
