PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball bearing which can be used under faster rotation, even in using a cheap snap cage and in which deformation of retainer due to a centrifugal force can be reduced. SOLUTION: The ball bearing has a retainer 4 holding rolling bodies between an inner ring and an outer ring. This retainer 4 has a plurality of pockets 5 with one portion wide-opened on one side face of an annular body 6 and rolling bodies provided therein on one side surface of the annular body 6. In this ball bearing, a flange 8 is formed in the circumference on the side of the pocket bottom in the outer diameter surface of the annular body 6 of the retainer 4. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
