OUTER RING FOR ROCKING BEARING, ROCKING BEARING AND AIR DISK BRAKE DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outer ring for a rocking bearing capable of closely contacting with a housing by an appropriate preload.

SOLUTION: The outer ring 12 for the rocking bearing is provided with an arcuate raceway member 13 having a raceway surface 13a on the inner diameter face and with flanges 14 provided at axial both ends of the raceway member 13 and protruded to the radial inner side. The flanges 4 include first flanges 14a and second flanges positioned adjacent to the first flanges 14a in the circumferential direction and having relatively small projecting lengths.
