PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a functional nonwoven fabric sheet useful with health promoting action in which the improvement of symptoms such as atopy, pollinosis and asthma is clearly recognized by continuous use, while achieving high humidity conditioning property and gas adsorbing property by acquiring an excellent nonwoven fabric sheet increased in the filling amount of a raw material having humidity conditioning property and gas adsorbing property. SOLUTION: The functional nonwoven fabric sheet, and a method of manufacturing the sheet are characterized in that a siliceous shale particle layer formed fixed with a hot melt adhesive is held between two nonwoven fabrics and that the siliceous shale particle layer contains, by mass, 3-50 parts hot melt adhesive to 100 parts siliceous shale particles.
