PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily fix the fixed position of an end fence at a proper position where the buckling of a sheet-like medium does not occur and improve the operabilities when the end fence is fixed, released, and moved in a paper feeder comprising a rotatable bottom plate, the end fence having a biasing body, a pressing body, and an end fence body with an operation means for fixing and releasing the end fence to and from a paper feed cassette. SOLUTION: The operation means 22 is disposed on the opposite side of the pressing body 23 with the end face body 21 interposed therebetween.
