A broadcast receiver and a method of processing data are disclosed. The b roadcast receiver includes a signal receiving unit, a RS frame decoder, a de coding unit, a text-to-speech (TTS) module, a voice output unit, and a contr ol unit. The signal receiving unit receives broadcast signal multiplexed mob ile broadcast service data including text information and main broadcast ser vice data. The RS frame decoder performs decoding on the RS frame, thereby c orrecting errors occurred in the corresponding mobile broadcast service data . The decoding unit decodes the text information included in the error-corre cted mobile broadcast service data. The text-to-speech (TTS) module converts the text information to a voice signal. The voice output unit outputs the c onverted voice signal. The control unit controls the voice output unit.
