<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a front housing of a highly reliable swash plate compressor improved both in compressor casing pressure tolerance and in thrust bearing durability without productivity degradation or cost increase while assuming the reduction in compressor size and weight. <P>SOLUTION: The swash plate compressor is characterized in that the inner surface of a cylindrical part of the front housing in a bottomed container shape and the circumferenctal portion of a thrust bearing support surface, and the arcuate curve having a tangent common with the inner surface of the front housing's cylindrical part and the curve located on the opposite side of a crank chamber from the thrust bearing support surface are connected via a curved surface formed by rotation about the front housing axis, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
