PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL display and its manufacturing method with excellent visibility by alleviating brightness unevenness of the display through restraint of unevenness of oxidation degrees of the surface of an electrode layer. SOLUTION: The organic EL display 1 is provided with a plurality of organic EL elements 5. The organic EL element 5 is provided with a first electrode layer 14 having an oxidized film 15 with its top face oxidized, a charge injection accelerating layer 16 formed on the oxidized film and made of alkali metal or alkaline earth metal, a charge injection layer 17 formed on the charge injection accelerating layer 16 and made of halides of alkali metal, an organic light-emitting layer 18 formed on the charge injection layer 17, and a second electrode layer 19 formed on the organic light-emitting layer 18.
