<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell capable of preventing drying of an electrolyte membrane in a stack and obtaining desired power in starting even when a stopped state is continued for a long time. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell is equipped with condensers 66, 82 producing condensed water by condensing moisture contained in at least anode gas supplied to a stack and anode offgas exhausted from the stack; gas-liquid separators 70, 84 separating the condensed water condensed in the condensers from gas; condensed water tanks 72, 86 storing the condensed water separated with the gas-liquid separators; and condensed water flowing-out passages 74, 90 making flow out the condensed water in the condensed water tanks, and outflow of the condensed water is shut off in the condensed water flowing-out passages 74, 90 (a fourth shut-off valve 76, a sixth shut-off valve 92). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
