PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mixing method for solid and liquid materials suitable for surface-modifying the solid material with the liquid material or uniformly dispersing and mixing the solid material into the liquid material regardless of the mixing ratio of the solid material to the liquid material, and a device for performing it. SOLUTION: The mixing method for the solid and liquid materials is characterized in that the solid material and liquid material both pulverized into fine particles and moving are brought into contact with each other for mixing, wherein the solid material is preferably supplied from a spray device and fluidized by given a swirling flow, or is pulverized into the fine particles by an impact type pulverizer.
