PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner capable of inexpensively securing the stability of a body when adopting casters to a front wheel and rear wheels as traveling means. SOLUTION: This vacuum cleaner, in its body base 6, is provided with a front wheel caster 7 at a central front part and rear-wheel casters 8 in the left/right rear parts as the traveling means, has operation buttons 22a and 22b functioning by being pushed downward, in the upper face, has fall prevention projections 23 in the left/right lower faces, and when the vacuum cleaner body 1 inclines at a predetermined angle, the tip of the fall prevention projections 23 come into contact with the floor face to prevent the falling.
