PURPOSE:To provide output rotational speed/torque characteristics in accordance with an applicated machine and its using condition in a rotation controller. CONSTITUTION:A rotation controller comprises a variable speed driving source 4, a mechanical automatic transmission 5, an input rotation detecting means 6 and an output rotation detecting means 7 that detect respective input/output rotational speeds of the automatic transmission 5, a load torque calculation means 8 for calculating the load torque based on the detected signals of both rotation detecting means 6 and 7 and a setting device 9. It comprises also an input rotation calculation means 10 which calculates input rotational speed to the mechanical automatic transmission 5 based on the setting characteristics of the setting device 9 and the calculated results of the load torque calculation means 8, and a rotational speed control means 11 which controls the rotational speed of the variable speed driving source 4 based on the calculated result of the input rotation calculation means 10. |
