This invention concerns a lawn mower and loading device for cut material for environmentally friendly mowing of decorative lawns and/or grass surfaces, for collecting and for compacting the cut material for the purpose of additional use in a single phase of work. To that effect, this mower and loading device has at least one frame adjustable in height which has wheels, an associated cutting mechanism and cut material transport element, and a chamber for receiving and compacting cut material. The essential characteristic of the invention is that the cut material transport channel (7) of the cutting mechanism (60) is connected to the compacting chamber (52) of the bailing press (70) which receives and compacts the cut material. |
