Bell plate (2) for a rotary sprayer (1) used in the coating of workpieces comprises a coating medium channel (5) supplying coating medium and a rinsing medium channel (12, 13) supplying a rinsing medium for removing coating medium residues adhering to the bell plate. The rinsing medium channel arranged separately to the coating medium channel to prevent contamination of the rinsing medium by the coating medium and to allow rinsing during the coating operation. An Independent claim is also included for a rotary sprayer used in the coating of workpieces, especially powder coating.
