摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a BD optical information recording medium having excellent recording characteristics in recording by irradiation with a short-wavelength laser beam, and easily manufactured. <P>SOLUTION: The optical information recording medium comprises a reflective layer, a recording layer, a barrier layer, and a cover layer in this order on the surface of a substrate with a pregroove on its surface. The recording layer contains at least one kind of azo dye compound selected from a group consisting of an azo compound and an azo metal complex compound comprising an azo compound and a metal ion or a metal oxide ion. The extinction coefficient of the azo dye compound is in the range of 0.15-0.3 at the wavelength of 405 nm. A layer having a glass transition temperature of 25&deg;C or below formed by curing an ultraviolet curable composition is disposed between the barrier layer and the cover layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
