PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to satisfy both of the copyright protection and the preservation of reproducing compatibility for recorded data such as contents in, for example, recording type information recording media.

SOLUTION: An optical disk (100) is provided with a recording area where predetermined clock information (WBL) which is (i) included in a first frequency band that is definable by a first reference frequency (Fstd) and (ii) defined by a frequency that is an integral multiple of the first reference frequency is preformatted for recording the record data.
