PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a keyword-input supporting system which improves convenience of users, and also provide a content-retrieving system, a content-registering system, a content retrieving and registering system, methods thereof and a program. SOLUTION: The image retrieving and registering server 14 of an image retrieving and registering system 2 is provided with a thesaurus dictionary database 36 which stores thesaurus dictionaries; a relational word retrieving part 37 which retrieves relational words, which are relative to inputted keywords, from the thesaurus dictionaries; and a relational word outputting part 38 which outputs the retrieved relational words as the candidates for the keywords. The candidates outputted from the relational word outputting part 38 are displayed on the monitor 15 of a personal computer 12 and selected by an operating part 16. An image-retrieving part 39 retrieves image data, which have the keywords as the tags, from an image database 35, and the results of the image retrieval are displayed on the monitor 15.
