PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a miniaturized optical unit and optical equipment. SOLUTION: The optical unit 10 comprises a first member 21 having an aperture 23; a second member 30 arranged to hold an optical system L1 to face the aperture and to move relatively to the first member; an irradiation part 51 irradiating the second member with light; a detecting means 52 provided at the first member and receiving light through the second member to detect the position of the second member; and a projecting part 61 arranged near the aperture and projected in a direction of a clearance between the first member and the second member.
