The sewage pipe (1) has a heat exchanging element (9) fitted in sewage. The heat exchanging element is arranged at the top of the sewage pipe, and contains a meandering form piping system (5), whose inlet (2) and outlet (3) are guided outside at the top of the sewage pipe. Slots are attached at the top of the sewage pipe, and form an open connection to the interior of the sewage pipe for the piping system of the heat exchange medium. An insulation (6) is attached at the top of the sewage pipe.
