PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an onboard navigation device capable of accurately detecting an intersection at which a driver is likely to get lost. SOLUTION: An onboard navigation device 1 forms a guidepath between the current location of a vehicle as detected by a position detector 3 and a destination that has been entered. When the vehicle deviates from the guidepath at an intersection, when the state of the vehicle as detected by a velocity sensor 6, a G sensor 7, or a gyroscope 23 becomes a predetermined state, and when the physical state of a driver as detected by a physical state detection sensor 19, a camera 20, or a microphone 15 becomes a predetermined state, it is determined that the vehicle has deviated from the guidepath by the driver's mistake and the intersection is an intersection at which the driver is likely to get lost. Then, data specifying the intersection at which the vehicle has deviated from the guidepath is sent to an information center 26 provided outside of the vehicle. The information center 26 collects, from vehicles, data specifying intersections, and forms data to notify the vehicles of intersections at which drivers are likely to get lost.
