PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device or a display device, which can normally operate even when part of circuits causes operation failure. SOLUTION: The display device includes a pixel unit, a video signal output circuit and a selection signal output circuit, wherein either the video signal output circuit or the selection signal output circuit is provided with redundant circuits and a selection circuit that selects a circuit to be operated among the redundant circuits. Accordingly, even when one circuit among the redundant circuits causes operation failure in either the video signal output circuit or the selection signal output circuit, switching is made to another circuit to compensate the operation.
