A refrigerator is provided to increase the volume of the refrigerating room by supplying the cooling air from the side of the plate in order to utilize the space in the backside of the refrigerating room as cooling space. A refrigerator comprises a main body(100) having a plurality of refrigerating rooms(110,120), a plate(200) partitioning the refrigerating rooms, a cooling air supply unit which is provided on one side of the plate in order to at least one of the refrigerating rooms, and a cooling air generation unit which is provided on the backside of at least one other refrigerating room except for the refrigerating room supplied with the cooling air by the cooling air supply unit and generates cooling air.
