PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record new contents in a built-in storage while keeping important contents by effectively utilizing the built-in storage for recording and an external storage for storing and reproducing. SOLUTION: The DTV11 of this ground digital television broadcast receiving system includes a built-in storage 47 mounted to record contents such as television programs, and is capable of connecting an external storage 25 to the outside. When a new program is recorded or reserved to be recorded, unlocked ones among existing contents are automatically deleted from the built-in storage 74. If the free capacity of the built-in storage 74 is short after the deletion, connection and free capacity of the external storage are checked, and only movable ones among the existing contents are automatically moved to the external storage 25 having the free capacity to increase the free capacity of the built-in storage 74.
