PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information display apparatus capable of simultaneously viewing an object and its relating information within the same field of view, and to provide an information display system.

SOLUTION: The information display apparatus comprises: an identification information reading means 22 for reading information sent from an object 10; an identifying means 23 for identifying the object from information read by the identification information reading means 22, and acquiring information about the object according to the result of the identification; and a display means 21 for displaying the information about the object acquired by the identifying means.
