A cutting and grinding method in which at least one object (1) is at least partly passed into a material bath such that the object (1) is moved relative to the bath in a movement comprised of at least three circular movements, where a first circular movement (2) is made relative to a first center point (3), and in which the object is moved 0,2 to 1.5 times relative to the first center point, around the latter, when the second center point (5) moves once around a third center point (7).
