A light emitting diode device and applications thereof are provided to facilitate impurities monitoring on a substrate or an operation part by increasing accuracy and precision of impurities detection. An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display)(300) includes a LCD panel(301) and a back light module(302). The back light module is installed in one side of the LCD panel, and comprises a rear plate(303), a light guide plate(304), a reflector(305), and a light source(306). The light guide plate includes a light receiving surface(307) which is coupled with the light source which is a LED device. One end of the LED device is coupled with the light receiving surface of the light guide plate. The other end of the LED device is fixed and is connected to a control circuit substrate(316).
