A mobile terminal mount for automatically tracing the face of the other part during a video call, and a mobile terminal thereof are provided to control the direction of a camera installed in the mobile terminal. A camera(110) for a video call captures an image and then outputs a video signal. An image filtering unit(120) filters at least a part of the face of the other party from the inputted video signal. A face tracing unit(130) detects the moving direction of the part detected by the image filtering unit. A rotation signal generating unit(140) calculates a rotation value for controlling the direction of the camera according to the outputted moving direction, and outputs the calculated result as a rotation signal. A rotation signal output unit(150) outputs the rotation signal generated from the rotation signal generating unit to the outside.
