PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bran ball removing apparatus removing bran balls before bag-packing of polished grains. SOLUTION: The bran ball removing apparatus comprises a screening mesh 10 having a mesh size for passing grains and vertically vibrating while horizontally rotating, a discharge path 20 provided under the screening mesh 10, and a housing 30 surrounding the screening mesh 10. In the bran ball removing apparatus, grains transferred onto the screening mesh 10 during operation pass through the screening mesh 10 and are discharged to the discharge path 20, while foreign matter mixed in the grains and larger than the grains remains on the screening mesh 10, and the foreign matter remaining on the screening mesh 10 is discharged from the circumferential part of the screening mesh 10 into the housing 30.
