The invention relates to a rolling bearing (1) which is embodied as a roller bearing and which is composed substantially of an inner bearing ring (2) and an outer bearing ring (3) which is arranged concentrically with respect to said inner bearing ring (2), a multiplicity of roller-shaped rolling bodies (5) which roll between said bearing rings (2, 3) and which are formed with an axial passage bore (4), and at least one bearing cage (6) which holds the rolling bodies (5) at uniform intervals in the peripheral direction. Here, the bearing cage (6) is formed by at least two side rings (9, 10), which are arranged at the end sides (7, 8) of the rolling bodies (5), and by a multiplicity of pins (11) which are guided through the passage bores (4) of the rolling bodies (5) and which are connected at the end sides to the two side rings (9, 10), wherein, to prevent friction between the rolling bodies (5) and the bearing rings (2, 3) and between the rolling bodies (5) and the pins (11) of the bearing cage (6), the free volume between the bearing rings (2, 3) is filled with a lubricant. According to the invention, the pins (11) of the bearing cage (6) have a thread flight-like profiling on their lateral surfaces (12), by means of which profiling the lubricant which is arranged between the bearing rings (2, 3) can be transported into the axial passage bores (4) of the rolling bodies (5) and can be uniformly distributed over the region of sliding contact between the rolling bodies (5) and the pins (11). |
